These scholars took home the "Keep the Quote" the past two weeks.  Each week a different Majer Gator is chosen who exhibits what the quote implies.  The scholar that earns it then helps to chose the next quote we will use along with the next recipient. We have been discussing Random Acts of Kindness, these scholars decided to take it upon themselves and surprise the class with kindness!  The rest of the class was so grateful!

Tom Buckley is a senior at Port Huron Northern who is working on getting his Eagle Scout badge.  He has donated much of his time to Garfield Elementary, and to the Port Huron community in general.  At Garfield Elementary he has built and donated a picnic table for our special needs students to use, painted all of our playground equipment, and painted our blacktop for students to enjoy.  Thank you Tom!?  We appreciate all you have done for Garfield.
