Graduation Requirements for Class of 2010
- Twenty-one (21) semester credits will be required for all students. Each course successfully completed will be awarded ½ credit.
- Thirteen and one half (13.5) of these credits are to be in the following content areas:
- English 3 credits
- Mathematics 3 credits
- Science 3 credits
- Social Studies 3 credits
- Physical Education 1 credit
- Health Education .5 credit
- Students shall be designated as seniors no earlier than the end of their third calendar year in high school.
- In order to receive a Port Huron High School diploma, a student must have been in attendance at Port Huron High for at least two semesters. Students who transfer to PHHS during their senior year normally will receive their diploma from the high school where they did the major portion of their work. Deviations from this policy will be made only by the principal.
- The State of Michigan requires that all students take at least five (5) classes each semester. For specific, documented reasons, some students may be eligible to take less than five classes. This reduced schedule must be approved by the principal or his designee.

- Visual/Performing/Applied Arts/Personal Career 1.0
- Computer Tech On-line course or experience
- World Languages 0 (Class or 2011) / 2 (Class of 2016)
- Possible # of electives 5.5 (Class of 2011) / 3.5 (Class of 2016)
