To take part in the 2026 Commencement Ceremony (Graduation),
ALL courses / GED tests must be successfully completed by:
June 4th - 7:30 p.m.
No Exceptions or Extensions!
Those planning to graduate need to plan accordingly to complete all coursework/GED tests
by the deadline if you want to participate in Graduation!
Important Graduation Facts - Class of 2026!
As we approach this exciting milestone, here are a few key details every graduate and family should know:

Guests do not need a ticket at this time.
Further details will be given if the number of participants exceeds expectations.
12:00 p.m. / Noon - Mandatory Marching Practice - BE ON TIME!
If you do not attend marching practice , you will not be able to participate in the Commencement ceremony.
Practice will last 1-2 hours on average.
Parents, guardians, other family and friends will not be permitted in the auditorium during practice.
We will need everyone's full attention to get through the ceremony multiple times before you are released for the afternoon.5:45 p.m. - BE ON TIME!
Graduates are due back at the PHHS PAC6:00 p.m.
Family and friends enter the Performing Arts Center Auditorium to find seating.
Please be respectful of any reserved seating and handicapped areas.6:20 p.m.
Graduates gather in the lobby for a group photo including both PHS Adult Learning Center and PHX Academy graduates.6:25 p.m.
Graduates line up for entry to PAC.
Wait for the signal from assigned staff before marching in.6:30 p.m.
Class of 2026 Commencement begins!Attention Items:
Graduation gowns must be fully zipped - no open front gowns will be permitted.
Adult Learning Center graduates will wear gold gowns; Phoenix Academy will be in burgundy.
Attire must follow the student code handbook or be approved by the administrator prior to marching practice.
Caps may be tastefully decorated on the flat top portion only. No items adding extra height to the cap are allowed.
Cell phones and extra items are not allowed on the stage during the ceremony. Make sure these are left with a trusted family member or friend.
If your family member requires a handicap accessible seat, please inform the school office as these spaces are limited.
They will be reserved on a first request, first served basis.The ceremony will be recorded and available to view on our Facebook page, usually within a week of graduation.
We are so proud of our graduating class and look forward to celebrating their achievements together!
