Completion of EDP requirements:
Once logged in you will see a section labeled “About Me” and underneath there will be a couple of quizzes that need to be completed. These quizzes are: Matchmaker, Personality Style, Mission Complete, and Learning Style.
To fulfill the requirements of your EDP you will need to complete all four quizzes
Starting with Matchmaker the next quiz will unlock after you complete the previous
Work your way through the quizzes ending with Learning Style.
Each quiz will narrow down your results giving you better and more accurate results with the completion of each questionnaire. The purpose of these quizzes and questions is for Xello to get a better understanding of who the user is as a person and what they are interested in career-wise. This will help the student learn more about the profession they were interested in to begin with or help them discover a career path they never knew existed and is perfect for them.
Take your time with each quiz answering as truthfully as possible. This will increase the accuracy of your results and the data at the end will better represent you.
Once completed the student will receive recommendations on possible professions that they would enjoy according to how they have answered the quizzes. Each profession will breakdown exactly why it was chosen for, education and training paths that lead to a job in that field, wage, and expected demand for the job.
The next step in the process is looking around the two sections Careers and Schools. You will pick three from each section that interest you and click the heart symbol next to their name saving them on your profile.
Schools
Here you will find up to date information on almost any school in the country. Once you click on a school you will be able to see everything from tuition costs, majors offered, number of students, acceptance rate, average grades and scores for accepted incoming freshmen, and much more. Most schools even offer virtual tours of the campus so you can see what the school actually looks like.
Careers
Here you will find hundreds of career possibilities all in one spot. Search for something that you already know you’re interested in or apply filters to narrow down what Xello shows you. Once a career is selected Xello provides in depth information on that profession including things like: expected salary,education/training required, demographic of workforce, testimonies from
