PORT HURON HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL SEASON BEGINS AT THE BIG HOUSE - MICHIGAN STADIUM
PORT HURON — On Friday, August 26, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. Port Huron High’s football season will kick off in Ann Arbor at Michigan Stadium, known as “The Big House.” This famed football setting will host the season opener between PHHS and Grand Rapids Catholic Central, the Division 5 state champions of 2021. Also in attendance and performing will be the Big Red Marching Machine, the Port Huron High cheerleading squad and the state champion Thunderbirds dance team.
“This opportunity for our students is once-in-a-lifetime,” said Port Huron High principal Mike Palmer. “To visit this type of venue is tremendous, but to be able to play on the field and be in that setting is just fantastic. We are so proud to be representing Port Huron High and the Port Huron Area School district at this prestigious event.”
