PORT HURON, Mich. — For its ninth year, Port Huron Schools launches its district-wide staff award campaign and is requesting nominations for Advocator, Innovator and Educator of the Year. Anyone in the Port Huron community can complete the brief nomination form on www.phasd.us and specify the particular area of excellence for the individual they are recognizing.

Happy Substitute Educator's Day! We're grateful for the hardworking and dedicated substitute educators who step in to help our students learn and grow every day. They are some of the MVPs of the school system - keeping the learning going when our teachers are away, and often stepping into unfamiliar classrooms and situations with grace and poise. Thank you, substitute educators, for all you do! #1PHASD
