The City of Port Huron donated a tree to be planted at Cleveland in honor of Arbor Day. Our 2nd grade classrooms helped to plant the tree today and were joined by City Council members and Mayor Ashford. We appreciate the donation and look forward to watching the tree grow over the years. Thank you!

We had a great time celebrating our foster grandparents at the Foster Grandparent Recognition Dinner tonight. Thank you Grandma Sadie, Grandma Barb, and Grandma Maria for working with our students everyday. We appreciate you!

Cleveland Elementary’s FIRST LEGO League team, the Water Warriors, competed in a spring FIRST LEGO competition at Richmond Middle School on April 22. The team, made up of seven fourth-grade students, spent the season developing an innovative project based on this year’s archaeology theme while also designing and programming a robot to complete mission challenges.
Their hard work paid off in a big way. The Water Warriors earned three top honors, including the prestigious Champion’s Award, which recognizes teams that fully embody the FIRST LEGO League experience through excellence in robot performance, design, and innovation, while demonstrating strong Core Values.
In addition, the team received the Robot Performance Award for achieving the highest score in the Robot Game, and the Core Values Award for their outstanding teamwork, enthusiasm, and respect for others. Judges noted the team’s commitment to discovery, inclusion, innovation, impact, and fun throughout the competition. Way to go Superbees!!
