Crosstown showdown:  The annual football game between Port Huron HIgh and Port Huron Northern will be Friday, Sept. 26 at 7:00 PM in Memorial Stadium.  As this is a well attended game, it is highly recommended that visitors purchase their tickets in advance using this link.  This will greatly improve the entrance procedures.  Bags are not allowed with the exception of carrying medically necessary items. Purses may be inspected. High School students must show a school ID. Middle and elementary school students must be accompanied by a parent and stay with the parent for the game.  

Homecoming Information:  This year’s Homecoming football game will be Friday, Oct. 3. That day students will be released at 11:00.  The games assembly will begin by 10:00.  The dance will be Saturday, Oct. 4 from 7:00-10:00 PM.  The theme is Candyland. Tickets for the dance will go on sale this Monday at all lunches in the Student Council office. The cost is $20 in advance cash or card (additional fee).  Guest passes will be available in the main office.  Passes must be completed and approved in advance of purchasing tickets.  Middle school students are not allowed to attend.Students must be in attendance by 8:00 PM.

Spirit week is from Sept 29-Oct 3.  Here are the days:

Banner building is already happening.  Students are invited to help out with their classes after school everyday. Here are the banner building locations for the parade on Saturday:

 A reminder that the winning class (Spirit Day, Banner, Games) will receive $1000! The games assembly will take place on Friday, Oct 3.  Email your advisor in order to sign up to play.

Homecoming Dress Drive: The Women Empowerment Club hosted their first ever dress drive this past week! At this point 190 dresses have been donated!  If you are in need of a dress, please complete this form. A pass will be created for you during RED52 to come and try on dresses. TEC students: AM students may choose to stay at PH for the homecoming assembly..  They will need to sign up in advance in the attendance office. They must remain in the media center until the assembly. PM students are excused from TEC due to the half day.

Late Work Deadline: A reminder that the late work deadline is this upcoming Wednesday.  Any work that is past due from this week must be submitted by Wednesday before 2:30 in order to receive credit.  Please check for missing assignments this weekend in Power School.

Tutoring: After School Tutoring will begin on Monday, Sept 29 in the Media Center from 2:40-3:40.  All students are invited to attend.  Tutoring runs Monday through Thursday.

Fall Sports Assembly: The Fall Sports Assembly will be on Friday, September 26.  5th and 6th hours will be 32 minutes each.

Academic Awards Assembly: The Academic Awards Assembly will be Monday, October 6 at 8:00 AM in the gym. Students in the 10th through 12th grade who have maintained a Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher will be honored during the ceremony.  Parents and guests are invited to attend. Manufacturing Day:  Manufacturing Day is Tuesday, October 7. All tenth graders will be invited to participate. There is no Red 52 that day.  This year PH will be working with ALD, Greene Group Industries, and US Farathane.

Powerschool:  All parents and students are highly encouraged to download the Powerschool App.  This app can be utilized to track grades and attendance.  The district code is LBGR. This is also a reminder for parents to update their contact information within Powerschool.
