Announcements for 10/26/2023

The next meeting of the Gay-Straight Alliance will be on Wednesday, November 1st at 7:15 in room 704 (next to Ms. Carleton's room). Please join us to learn about the ways we will be reaching out to help our entire community. 

Staff and students the Nisbett Strong t-shirts are in and will be available during your lunch. If you filled out the google form please bring $10 with you to grab your shirt.  Go to room #322 behind the school store to purchase your T-shirt.  You can also pay with a credit card.  All proceeds will go to Mrs. Nisbett’s family.

God First group is hosting a showing of the movie Jesus Revolution on Friday October 27th at 7 pm in the PAC.  The event is free and open to the public, so bring a friend. Any donations given will go to Mrs. Nesbitt's family.

Do you like to play chess, or want to learn the game? Come to Chess Club on Mondays from 2:30-3:30 pm in room 405. All skill levels are welcome and chess boards will be provided. Direct any questions to Mrs. Zyrowski. 

For those who had their picture taken during re-take day, your IDs will be sent to us from Lifetouch as soon as possible.  We will advise you when your ID arrives

Attention Seniors,  Herff-Jones will be on campus this Friday, October 27th to present cap and gown information.  You will be called down to the PAC during first hour after attendance is taken.  Information packets will be handed out at this time. If you have AM TEC or are unable to attend you can pick up a packet in the main office.   Herff-Jones will be back on campus on Friday, November 3rd.  To collect orders during all 3 lunches (10:50-12:21)

There will be a Halloween costume and cosplay contest held in room 312 directly after school on the half day next week, Oct. 31. Prizes will be awarded to our winners!  See Mrs. Zyrowski with any questions.

Girl Up is partnering with Port Huron High School for a COIN WAR. 

This fundraising event for Mrs. Nisbett's family will take place on Friday October 27th, Monday the 29th, and Wednesday November 1st during all lunches. Look for the Girl Up table in the cafeteria and add your spare change to help beat Port Huron! Coins and bills are both accepted.  If you are not able to donate during lunches, but you wish to participate, see Mrs. Houle in room 315.

There will be a prayer gathering around the rock,  at 7:10 tomorrow morning, to lift the Nisbett Family up in prayer.
