PHN Announcements

Announcements for 3/5/2024 

Attention Seniors:   Herff Jones will be here on Thursday, March 7th during all 3 lunches to deliver Senior Announcement orders. Any balance due will need to be paid before you can pick up your items.  Just a reminder this is not cap & gown, cap & gown will be delivered just before graduation.

Interested in playing golf for the PHN Boys Golf Team?  There is a mandatory meeting Tuesday, March 5th from 2:40 to 3:00 PM in Room 203.  We will discuss requirements for try-outs and team information.  

Guest passes for Senior Prom will be available in the main office this week. All guest passes must be approved before a guest ticket can be purchased. (Please remember - 1 guest per student and you are responsible for the behavior of your guest) Tickets will be on sale next week for $30 each. Prom is April 20th at City Flats Ballroom. 

Thank you to those who attended the Phil Willard Memorial Chess Tournament this past weekend.  Ben Hartman, Mason Long and Theodore Mitchell represented PHN in the 9th grade level, with Ben Hartman winning first place for his grade.  Corey Peltier,Timothy Skrip and Nathan DePuey represented the 11th grade level, with Timothy Skrip winning first place for his grade. Congratulations to our chess players!

If you are interested in participating in Track this spring there will be a brief informational meeting Wednesday March 6, after school in the cafeteria. If you are unable to attend or have any questions please see Coach Neal or Coach Nevado.

Senior nomination forms for class color, song, flower and motto are available in the counseling office. Nomination forms are due by this Friday to be considered in the final vote.

JV Girls Tennis: Anyone that is interested in playing JV girls tennis will meet in Coach Leon’s room 106 on Monday, March 11th at 3 PM. The upcoming season will be discussed and players will try on the uniforms. If the weather permits, we will be outside playing tennis. If the weather does not cooperate, we will be indoors conditioning or playing tennis and practice will end at 4:30, so bring racquets and dress in layers to play inside or out. JV players need to download and sign up for the GroupMe by scanning one of the posters around the school. All updates will be posted on the GroupMe. See Mrs. Leon or Mrs. Varty with questions.
