The Strive for a Safer Drive club will have its first meeting of the year on Wednesday, October 9 at 7:10 am in Mrs. Gibson's classroom, room 305. All who are interested are welcome. If you are unable to attend this meeting, please reach out to Officer Allen or Mrs. Gibson. We hope to see you there.
The first Period Hygiene Network meeting of the year will be at 7:10 on Thursday, October 10th in room 702. Anyone interested in joining our team is welcome to attend and share your ideas for the club. Please see Ms. Carleton if you have any questions.
Attention all students! After school Credit Recovery is being held next week from 2:30 - 3:30 in Mrs. Doss' room, (#501). If you are currently working on making up a credit or two... or ten, please plan on coming to the After School Credit Recovery opportunity! This opportunity is on Mondays - Thursdays from 2:30 - 3:30 pm, and is an excellent way to work on getting your missing credits and moving toward the ultimate goal of graduation. See you next week! Attention Book Club Members: Copies of "Turtles All the Way Down" are available in room 307. Please read the first four chapters. We will have our next meeting on Friday, October 11th at 2:30 in room 307.
The Varsity Boys Tennis Team hosted the MAC White Tennis Tournament yesterday and placed third overall. Winning first place in their flight was the "Arm and Hammer" first doubles team of Owen Hill and Alex Jamison. Taking second place in their flights were 2 doubles: Cameron Douglas and Matthew Wood and 3 doubles: Luca Bynum and Macauley Douglas. Preston Lee finished third overall at number one singles. The Huskies travel to Eisenhower next Wednesday to compete in the Regional Tournament.
