Announcements for 11/11/2025
Attention all juniors and seniors: It’s November already, please continue to fill out your college applications! November is scholarship month, so start checking out some of the websites Mr. Houle has sent out on Schoology for more information! If you have any questions or concerns please stop by Mr. Houle’s office, that’s room 101a in the foreign language wing.
We will be welcoming a representative from Baker College today, at 9:46AM to answer all your questions about programs, campus life, and more. Students interested in this presentation should report to room 405 at the start of 3rd hour.
Then, on Friday, November 14th, at 9:46AM, there will be a representative from Central Michigan University visiting here in room 405. Please report to room 405 during 3rd hour, Friday, November 14th if you are interested in information regarding CMU.
Students who attend the college presentations will sign in at the start of the hour and will be marked “School Business” accordingly.
Are you a senior interested in visiting college campuses this school year? Want to get a feel for the college before committing there?
Now’s the time for action! Seniors, Monday December 1st, we will be visiting Saginaw Valley State University. If you are interested in visiting the SVSU campus please see Mr. Houle in room 101a to pick up a permission slip for this trip. The permission slips MUST be turned in by Tuesday, November 25th for you to be able to participate in the visit.
The bus leaves at 7:15am and we will arrive back at PHN around 2:45pm. You can see Mr. Houle for any questions about the trip as well.
Attention all boys interested in trying out for basketball. If you missed Friday's meeting, please go to phnbasketball.com to sign in and also to review the tryout information.
Want to contribute to the school newspaper? We are looking for articles, creative writing pieces, and photography. The deadline for Winter edition submissions is Dec. 12. See Dr. Zyrowski in room 312 with any questions.
Quizbowl will have the first practice on Thursday November 13th in room 204.
