Stitchers Unite will meet after school in room 704. New kits are available if you need a new project. All are welcome and bring a friend!
Lacrosse open gym begins tomorrow from 9-10:30 am in the main gym. Anyone interested in playing Lacrosse this Spring is welcome and equipment will be provided for new players. Reach out to Mr. McDougal with any questions.
Exam exceptions are now available in the main office.
Freshmen and Sophomores are eligible to exempt from one exam.
Juniors and Seniors are eligible to exempt from two exams.
Remember, you must meet all the criteria to have your exemption approved by Administration. Exam exemption forms are due no later than 2:30 pm January 14, 2026.
The girls JV and varsity tennis meeting has been rescheduled to Monday, January 12th at 2:35 PM in room 206 due to the snow day. The meeting is for players only—parents or guardians do not need to attend. See JV Coach Leon in room 106 or varsity Coach Hepting with questions.
Last night the Boys Swim team competed against Lake Shore.

Ayden Cross took 1 st place in the 200 IM & 100 Fly. Carter Modrich took 1 st place in the 100 Breast and 2nd place in the 200 Free. Reid DuBrico took 1 st Place in the 500 Free & 100 Back. Corey Cross took 4 th place in the 50 Free & 100 Free
Northern hosted the Blue Water Quizbowl on Thursday night
The Varsity Quizbowl team won two of three matches and were led by Eliana Partipillo with 35 answers. The JV Quizbowl team went undefeated and were led by Jacks Smitka
Attention all juniors and seniors: It’s a perfect time to continue those college applications, scholarships and FAFSA forms.
It’s a great time to ask some college representatives questions in person as you consider your next steps after high school. Today a representative from Ferris State University will be visiting at 9:46am. Anyone who may be interested in this presentation should report to room 405 at the start of 3rd hour.
Then, on Tuesday, January 13th, we will have a rep from Michigan Tech University at 9:46am, the start of 3rd hour in room 405.
Students who attend the college presentations will sign in at the start of the hour and will be marked “School Business” accordingly.
Any seniors interested in the Oakland University campus visit on Thursday, January 15th MUST submit their permission slips to Mr. Tyler Houle this Friday, January 9th, by the end of the day.
Also, seniors interested in visiting Wayne State’s campus on January 29th can pick up a permission slip from Mr Houle’s office starting today. Spots are limited so be quick to sign and submit your permission slip! Wayne State slips are due on January 26th at the end of the day! If you have any questions or concerns please stop by Mr. Houle’s office.
