The snowcoming dance will be held on February 28 from 7-11PM. If you plan to bring a guest from another school, you must have a guest pass approved. The applications for guest passes are available in the main office. They are due by February 25. You will not be able to buy a ticket for your guest without the approved application.
Attention Juniors: Free SAT Prep classes are being offered at Northern over the next 7 weeks to get ready for the SAT test in April.
Mrs. Borowski will have Math sessions on Wednesdays in room 202, and Mrs. Zyrowski will have English sessions on Tuesdays in room 312.
Students can choose to come in the morning from 7:00-7:30 am, or after school from 2:30-3:30 pm. We encourage you to attend the first sessions on Feb. 10th and 11th to take a pretest and get more information.
Ever want to see Mr. McDougal with a butterfly tattoo? Maybe Mrs. DesJardins needs a full sleeve to increase her street cred. Well, this is your chance to “Tattoo Your Teachers”!! February 20th during all 3 lunches you can have a temporary tattoo applied to your favorite teachers. One dollar for a small tattoo, three dollars for a medium and five dollars to give your teacher a full sleeve. All proceeds will be used to buy period products for our school. Bring your cash to tat your teachers up!
Girls soccer tryouts will be March 9th, 10th, and 11th. Tryouts will be 6:40-8:40pm in the Main gym. Email Coach Godinez with any questions or if you plan on trying out.
NHS is hosting a Valentines week bake sale! Buy $1 goodies at lunch for your best friend or you sweetheart! Starts today and goes through Thursday.
This Thursday, Stitchers Unite will meet after school in room 704. New kits are available if you need a new project. All are welcome and bring a friend!
Tryouts for esports will be on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Athletic Factory (in Trinity Lutheran on 10th street) from 3:30-5:30. Games are Overwatch and Smash Bros.
Any student that is interested in doing TRAP SHOOTING this year, stop by the Athletic Office for the sign-up sheet and more information before Thursday, 2/19/2026. There will be a parent meeting on Thursday, 2/19/2026 in the Main Commons area by the cafeteria at 4:00 pm
Juniors and Seniors there are still a few unfilled spots in the Eastern Michigan campus tour this Thursday, February 12th. You can stop by Mr. Houle’s office and grab a permission slip. The slips need to be turned in to Mr. Houle ASAP! We will meet at the front of the school by the study rooms next to the office at 8:10am on Thursday, so please be on time! If any juniors want to get an early look at what a college tour is like, this is your chance! If you have any questions or concerns please stop by Mr. Houle’s office.
The Hockey Team would like to extend a huge thank you to the students that have been supporting their games. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. The last 2 Hockey games are this week and they will not be offering the free admission for the students. Please continue to cheer on our Hockey team. Admission is $6
Okay Huskies! It’s time for another LEAD card drawing! This Thursday we will be drawing for 3 $10 gift card winners and 2 Snowcoming ticket winners! Be sure to put your LEAD cards in the box located at the administrators’ lunch table on Wednesday and Thursday during all 3 lunches. The winners will be drawn and announced at the end of the day on Thursday, February 12th. You need not be present to win! We will save your prize for you. Be sure your name is clearly written on each LEAD card entry. Thank you and good luck!
