Any student that is interested in playing Baseball this spring, see Mrs. Taylor in the Athletic Office for the sign-up sheet. There will be a short informational meeting today in Mr. Hamman’s room (room 207) after school. The meeting will last about 15 minutes.
WOMENS WELLNESS THRU WEIGHTLIFTING CLUB will be meeting today from 2:45-3:30 in the weight room.
Anyone that is interested in playing JV girls tennis in the spring can sign up in the athletic office. Beginner and intermediate players are welcome. Contact Coach Leon with questions: cleon@phasd.us or stop by room 106.
Port Huron Northern Bowling team attended a singles tournament this past weekend. 3 of the Varsity Girls made it to the top 8 with Carlie Irvine taking 4th place. For the boys, Elliot Purdy landed the #1 spot after a hard fought 7 games of competition. Congratulations! Way to go PHN!
The Quiz Bowl team traveled to Capac High school on Thursday night for competition. Congratulations to the Varsity for their wins against Capac, Almont, and Port Huron High The Varsity team remains undefeated. The Varsity team scored 540 points against Almont, topping our highest match score. The night's top team scorer was Shyan Lal with Paul Barlass and Nate Spharsu significantly contributing.
The JV team struggled to come up with wins, but the team worked well together and enjoyed the competition of the night. The JV players worked well together with all the team members contributing to points.
Come out and support our Quiz Bowl team this week as we host our home match this Thursday, matches start at 3 pm. We take on Cros-Lex, Algonac, and Armada.
